Metalflex PTFE Ultraline Series

PTFE is designed for a wide variety of general purpose use including high and low pressure steam, chemicals, paints, inks, adhesives, fuels, oils, detergents, refrigerants and foodstuffs.

PTFE is the most chemically resistant material known, and is only effected by a small number of very uncommon chemicals. Fluorine gas, boiling alkali metals, Chlorine Trifluoride and Oxygen Difluoride.

The famous non-stick nature of PTFE ensures that material passing through does not become ’hung up’ inside the hose, creating the risk of bacterial growth, or contamination.

Ultraline Convoluted SS Grades – The MWP listed above should be reduced by 1% for each 1 degC above 130 degc up to a maximum of 230 degC. (1% for each 1.8 degF above 266 degF up to a maximum of 445 degF)
